très belle reprises de my baby just car for me de nina simone, i was made to love her de stevie wonder ( assez rock soul ), du u can't judge a book by it's cover de willie dixon ( très creedence clearwater revival ) et un keep on knocking de Little Richard encore plus rageur que l'original

Born in Glasgow, Jimmy was the lead singer with legendary Australian hard rockers Cold Chisel for the decade to 1983. With a combination of fourteen Top 40 albums with Chisel and 13 charting solo albums (including nine Number Ones) he has the highest number of hit albums of any Australian artist.

In 1994, personal issues drove him from Australia, and he relocated to France, refusing to give in and triumphed over adversity. A man with a mission, a story to tell and a song to sing.

Fast forward to 2014, when he opened for the Rolling Stones on their Australian tour - further proving his standing by the best in Rock. He also released a 30th anniversary solo album.

Jimmy Barnes has always had an affinity with European audiences, and this performance showcases him at his raunchy best. Key tracks include ‘Stone Cold’, ‘Too Much Ain't Enough Love’ and his anthem, ‘Working Class Man’.

Je l' avais vu sur la tournée avec TEXAS et BRYAN ADAMS, très bon sur scène.

Comme référence, je n'ai que des live de Cold Chisel : Swingshift, Last Stand et Ringside et en solo : l'énorme Barnestorming dont j'ai parlé dans le topic "Belles voix", Soul Deeper-Live At The Basement et Raw. A chaque fois, c'est vraiment très convaincant.

Jimmy Barnes, transfuge de Cold Chisel, c'est comme le bon vin, c'est meilleur avec le temps qui passe !!!!!!!! Mais bon déjà en 1988, ça l'était déjà avec ce double live intitulé Barnestorming Live qui décape autant qu'une lessive Saint Marc ne le fait sur les murs de votre cuisine. C'est du bon Rock qui tâche, australien avec tout ce que cela sous-entend, à savoir "on ne fait pas dans la dentelle". Des morceaux comme Good Times, Do Or Die et Rising Sun vous font l'effet d'un rouleau compresseur, le tout chapeauté par la voix gouailleuse de notre ami. Il est bien entouré , le Barnes puisqu'il s'est adjugé les services du guitariste Johnny Diesel. Pas étonnant que ça carbure !!!
