Peut être que ça va stopper la déchéance de Chris Cornell, peut être pas. Franchement, c'est le rocker le plus décevant de ces dernières années après ce qu'il a montré dans Soundgarden que je préfère mille fois à Nirvana ...

Au demeurant c'est une bonne nouvelle, mais comme à chaque fois, je suis comme Saint Jean, je ne crois que ce que j'entends.

Le groupe rentre en studio :

Soundgarden are ready to go into the studio – and they’ve got a producer lined up.

The reunited grunge heroes will start recording a new studio album next week, with producer Adam Kasper, who worked with them on their last record, 1996’s Down On The Upside.

The band intend to take their time, with no release schedule planned at the moment. So, it might come out in 2011, but there again it might not.

The long-awaited new Soundgarden is on its way this fall.

The group’s as-yet-untitled reunion album is due for release on November 13.

In the upcoming August 30 issue of Rolling Stone, guitarist Kim Thayil talks about the project, saying "It re-establishes that we still rock, we're still heavy, and we're still a little weird."

Thayil also confirmed that tracks titled “Blood On The Valley Floor” and “A Thousand Days Before” will appear on the record. Speaking about the latter, Thayil described it as "a little Indian thing and some chicken-pickin. We call it 'country and eastern.'"

It will be the band's first album of new material since 1996's “Down On The Upside.”

Earlier this year, Soundgarden released “Live To Rise,” the band’s first new song in 15 years, as part of the soundtrack for the film, "Marvel's The Avengers."
