Eric Bell, ex-guitariste de Thin Lizzy sur les 3 premiers albums du groupe, sort un album intitulé Exile. L'album comprend 10 titres parmi lesquels un hommage très émouvant à Gary Moore et sera également accompagné d'un CD bonus qui contient une interview que le guitariste a accordée à RTE :

The 10 track album is spectacular and includes a breathtaking tribute to Gary Moore, along with some of the most amazing examples of Eric's guitar playing he's ever recorded. En effet, v'là qu'il se réveille le p'tit père après 20 ans.....Notre ami Eric pique un fard car lors de leur venue dublinoise, Metallica qui avait invité le guitariste irlandais à venir jammer sur Whiskey In The Jar n'a pas jugé bon de le rétribuer. Il pensait au moins toucher 2000 €. Au préalable, rien n'avait été convenu entre les Mets et Bell.............

Eric Bell a donné un concert à Dublin afin de récolter des fonds pour ériger une statue de Gary Moore à Belfast. Ce n'est pas le premier gig puisqu'il en avait déja donné deux à Dublin et à Belfast il y a quelques années et ce, pour la réalisation de ce projet :

NEW SHOW - The Eric Bell Trio

Thin Lizzy founding guitarist, Eric Bell, is thrilled to be setting out on his first UK tour since the pandemic.
The new Eric Bell Trio welcomes two new musicians with Phil Smyth on bass, and Matt Hewer on drums.
The band will be playing early classic Thin Lizzy tracks from the period of Eric’s time in the band, along with blues classics and songs from his subsequent, highly acclaimed solo albums.
In 1969 Eric walked into a bar in Dublin, ordered a pint and settled down to watch a band play. Two of the members of that band were Brian Downey and Phil Lynott. He was knocked out by what he saw and he asked them to form a band with him. Both duly obliged and within weeks **Thin Lizzy** was born.
The three of them worked very hard both in the studio and on the road and three iconic albums were the result. The band also enjoyed hit single success with ‘Whiskey In The Jar’ and ‘The Rocker’. Eric left the band in 1973 for health reasons and forged a solo career, alongside an exciting period playing lead guitar for Jimi Hendrix’s legendary bassist, in The Noel Redding Band.
