Je l'avais vu sur la tournée de deep purple en 2003,aprés l'album bananas.Il assure.J'avais bien apprecié son solo.

Don Airey will tour Europe in support of his latest album A Light In The Sky. Available tourdates run from January 9 until January 25. Pestilence will have a new album out in early 2009 and will do a first run of European shows from April 10 to April 25. They will also be available for festivals throughout Europe for the whole year.

Don Airey aime garder des secrets. En effet, il vient de révéler qu'il aurait assuré les parties de basse sur l'album Painkiller du Priest, Ian Hill ayant connu de sérieux problèmes de santé à l'époque. Le problème c'est qu'on le savait depuis des années car si je me souviens bien, l'info avait été dévoilée dans un article publié soit dans Hard Force soit dans Hard Rog Mag.

Deep purple a beaucoup perdu avec le départ de Lord ...
Airey ressort systématique les même plans en live et son rôle est beaucoup trop proéminent sur Whoosh! ou les claviers sont assez enfantins.

Je trouve qu'il était largement meilleur quand il était chez Gary Moore ou chez Ozzy.
