Suite à une demande de Phil " cretinous....private joke" pour un deep purple Osaka 1991 je me refais la tournée 1991 au Japon
https://www.purple.de/dirk/purple/mark6.php

Music Machine, London, UK 18th March 1978 TRULY PERFECT SOUND(from Original Masters) Bernie Marsden Original Cassette SeriesThe
truth about the earliest WHITESNAKEs is brought back to life with the “Bernie Tapes” treasured by the late Bernie Marsden himself! Four works will be released at the same time on a press CD that permanently preserves the best updated sound by meticulous mastering!! The four works released at the same time are all very early live albums that convey 1978, when WHITESNAKE had just started. It is also a hidden treasure that Barney himself personally visited our store and offered it to us. This work is an extremely valuable audience recording of "Music Machine Performance on March 18, 1978", which is the first of such four series. I get dizzy just because it's Barney's treasured original tape, but it's also WHITESNAKE's oldest record. In order to get a feel for its preciousness, let's unravel the history of the White Snake at dawn.
●1977 , December 16th-22nd: First rehearsal with 5 members ●1978 [February 13th: Brian Johnston joins] March 3rd-31st: UK #1 (17 performances)←★ Coco★ 《Brian leaves → Pete Thorley joins》 《“SNAKEBITE” produced from April 7th to 13th》 ・April 25th - July 9th: Europe (6 performances) ← *LYCEUM 1978 《Pete leaves → Jon Lord joins》 《“TROUBLE” completed on August 12th》 ・October 26th – November 23rd: UK #2 (17 performances) ← *BRIGHTON 1978
This is WHITESNAKE in 1977/1978. Formed in 1977, they were initially a five-piece band without a keyboard and did not perform live. The first stage was at "UK #1", which welcomed the first keyboardist, Brian Johnston. And during the Johnston era, it was a phantom lineup that did not leave any official works, and the only live performance was "UK #1". He was soon replaced by the second generation Pete Thorley. And, this “UK #1” does not have any sound boards, and there are only two types of audience recordings. Let's zoom in on more dates and check out the collection.
●Details of “UK #1” ・March 3: Lincoln performance (first live) ・March 4-10 (5 performances) [“NORTHWINDS” released on March 10] ・March 17: Basing Stoke performance *March 18: London performance ←★This work★ ・March 19: Newbridge performance *March 21 “RAFTERS 1978” ・March 23-31 (7 performances)
...and it looks like this. During this "UK #1", David Coverdale's 2nd solo "NORTHWINDS" was released. You can understand how early it was. "UK #1" was once said to have had a total of 10 performances, but now research has progressed and it is believed that there were 17 performances. And, this work and "RAFTERS 1978 (Zodiac 612)", released simultaneously this week, are the complete record of "British #1". In other words, it is all the music left behind by "Original WHITESNAKE". This work, which conveys such the oldest live performance, has a truly stunning clear sound. It's a vintage audience with a sense of distance, but there are original cassettes owned by the members. It is extremely fresh with no dubbing marks, and there is no wrinkle or stiffness at all. The performance sound that pierces straight through the clear air is as vivid as a laser beam. What is depicted with such clear sound is "The Oldest White Snake", which is even older than "SNAKEBITE". Let's also organize your valuable full sets here.
●Whitesnake (3 songs) ・Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City/Steal Away/Belgian Tom's Hat Trick ●Other (7 songs) ・Purple: Lady Luck (★)/Mistreated/Lady Double Dealer ・Solo: Lady (★)/Breakdown (Whitesnake Mama) ・Other covers: Rock Me Baby/Going Down (★★) *Note: Songs marked with “★” were not performed after Jon Lord joined. In particular, songs marked with "★★" are exclusive to Johnston's era.
The only WHITESNAKE originals are "Steal Away" and the instrumental "Belgian Tom's Hat Trick", the others are covers and DEEP PURPLE/solo era numbers. In fact, it's a shame that there is a recording leak from the end of "Lady Double Dealer" to the beginning of "Breakdown," but it's extremely fresh from the opening songs "Lady" and "Lady Luck," and up to "Going Down." is a super rare song that has only been played in "UK #1". "March 18, 1978" has become a legend throughout the world, with Coverdale MCing "Is there anyone who came to the Music Machine?" in the official work "LIVE AT HAMMERSMITH". The scene is Bernie Marsden's treasured cassette blowing out of the speaker. The truth about the treasure that could not be revealed due to various circumstances at the time of its excavation. Experience it to the fullest with the permanently preserved press CD!
★An extremely valuable audience recording of the "Music Machine Performance on March 18, 1978" provided by the late Bernie Marsden himself. This is WHITESNAKE's oldest recording, and it is extremely fresh with no dubbing marks, so there is no distortion or stiffness. It is a cultural heritage album that allows you to enjoy a show full of famous songs from the very early days, such as ``Going Down'', ``Lady'', ``Lady Luck'', and ``Lady Double Dealer'', with a performance sound that penetrates the clear atmosphere.

Live at Rafters Club, Manchester, UK 21st March 1978 TRULY PERFECT SOUND(from Original Masters) Bernie Marsden Original Cassette Series
The truth about the earliest WHITESNAKEs is brought back to life with the “Bernie Tapes” treasured by the late Bernie Marsden himself! This work is the second in a series of four such works. This is a very thick audience recording of "March 21, 1978 Rafters Club Performance". This work, together with the simultaneously released ``MUSIC MACHINE 1978 (Zodiac 611)'', is a special within a special, and is actually the most important work in this four-part series. In order to explain the meaning of this, let's first look back at the history of the White Snake right after the start.
●1977 , December 16th-22nd: First rehearsal with 5 members ●1978 [February 13th: Brian Johnston joins] March 3rd-31st: UK #1 (17 performances)←★ Coco★ 《Brian leaves → Pete Thorley joins》 [April 7th - 13th "SNAKEBITE" production] April 25th - July 9th: Europe (6 performances) ← *LYCEUM 1978 [ Pete leaves → Jon Lord joins] [August 12th "TROUBLE"] Completed》 October 26th - November 23rd: UK #2 (17 performances) ← *BRIGHTON 1978
This is WHITESNAKE in 1977/1978. Three keyboard players have been replaced before "TROUBLE", and you can enjoy all of them in this four-part series of Barney Tapes. Let's check the members of each of the four works here.
●Brian Johnston era /March 18th "MUSIC MACHINE 1978" /March 21st: Manchester performance ←★This work★ ●Pete Thorley era /July 9th "LYCEUM 1978" ●John Lord era /November 1st "BRIGHTON 1978 SOUNDBOARD"
...and it looks like this. This work and "MUSIC MACHINE 1978" are the most valuable records of the era of the first Brian Johnston. In the first place, these two books are all the records of the sound of Johnston's era. And, the most important thing is that “this work has a sound better than “MUSIC MACHINE 1978””. In other words, it is the best masterpiece of the phantom Johnston era WHITESNAKE (no sound board left, let alone the official one). In fact, the sound of this work is not simply "MUSIC MACHINE 1978 or better", but is wonderful enough to be called a masterpiece. “MUSIC MACHINE 1978” had a sound that had an undeniable sense of distance, but this work is completely on and direct without any sense of distance. It has the feeling of a closed room in a club, but the separate feeling of the twin guitars and chorus is so wonderful that it cannot be explained by that alone, and it really feels like the sound of a person involved. Moreover, this work is the highest peak updated edition that brushes up the close sound. At the time of the first excavation disc ``COME TASTE THE BAND (Disc 1)'', it was praised as ``the best recording of early WHITESNAKE'', but this work has further adjusted the balance of each range based on band analysis. The treble has become much clearer, and the sense of separation from the mid-low range has also improved. It realizes even more sound board-like vividness. What is depicted with such a masterpiece sound is the extremely rare “original WHITESNAKE full show”. Although the set itself is the same as the sister work "MUSIC MACHINE 1978", I would like to repeat it here.
“Lady Double Dealer” and “Breakdown/Whitesnake Mama”, which were missing in “MUSIC MACHINE 1978”, are seamlessly and completely recorded. This is a magnificent full live album worthy of being called a masterpiece. It is an absolute work of the "Johnston era" where no official works or soundboards were left behind, and one of the most important pieces of Bernie tapes. A press CD that updates its highest peak. Please, everyone, don't miss it.
★A very thick audience recording of “March 21, 1978 Rafters Club Performance” provided by the late Bernie Marsden himself. It's completely on and direct without any sense of distance. In addition to the feeling of a closed room in a club, the separate feeling of the twin guitars and chorus is also wonderful. This is a full live album that is the best masterpiece of the original White Snake (Brian Johnston era) with no official work or soundboard remaining.

The four works released at the same time are all very early live albums that convey 1978, when WHITESNAKE had just started. It is also a hidden treasure that Barney himself personally visited our store and offered it to us. This work, which is the third of such four series, is inspired by the "Lyceum Theater July 9, 1978" performance. This is a definitive edition that has been upgraded (significantly!) with delicious audience recordings of one-time only ultra-rare songs. Before we get to that rare song, let's start with the show position. Let's take a look at the overview of their activities at the time, including the four Barney Tapes series.
●1977 , December 16th-22nd: First rehearsal with 5 members ●1978 [February 13th: Brian Johnston joins] March 3rd-31st: UK #1 (17 performances) ←* MUSIC MACHINE 1978 and others 《Brian leaves → Pete Thorley joins》 [April 7th - 13th "SNAKEBITE" production] April 25th - July 9th: Europe (6 performances) ←★Here★ [Pete leaves → Jon Lord joins] [August 12th "TROUBLE"] Completed》 October 26th - November 23rd: UK #2 (17 performances) ← *BRIGHTON 1978
This is WHITESNAKE in 1977/1978. At this point, the only member change was on the keyboard, with Brian Johnston → Pete Thorley → Jon Lord. The "European" leg in which this work was recorded was during the 2nd generation Pete era, who also participated in "SNAKEBITE". However, Pete was only a support participant and was not an official member, and the live performances were only for 6 performances. Although it is extremely rare considering the number of times it has been sold, there are actually abundant records, and it is even familiar from our store's standard "SILVER TONGUE (Power Gate-147)" and "LOVEHUNTER: LOST REEL MASTERS." Now let's further focus on the dates and organize the collection.
...And like this, you can enjoy 2 types of sound boards / 2 types of audience. If you're thinking, "What, it's not rare at all," you're in a hurry. This work is the rarest set list among these four books. Now, let's check out its contents.
●White Snake (6 songs) ・Snakebite: Come On (★)/Bloody Mary (★★)/Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City/Steal Away ・Trouble: Belgian Tom's Hat Trick/Don't Mess With Me (★★) ●Others (3 songs) ・Purple: Lady Luck/Mistreated ・Others: Breakdown (Whitesnake Mama) *Note: Songs marked with “★” could not be heard in the sister works “MUSIC MACHINE 1978” and “RAFTERS 1978” song. In particular, "★★" is a super limited song that has only been confirmed for this work.
I started playing “Come On” from this “Europe” leg, but what is more important than that are the two extremely rare songs “Bloody Mary” and “Don’t Mess With Me”. These two songs have only been recorded on this day, both later and earlier (I did sing a little bit of "Bloody Mary" in an improvised a cappella, but this is the only full version). It is truly the ultimate rare song. Furthermore, since "Come On" and "Bloody Mary" are available, all songs from the EP "SNAKEBITE" will be performed on stage. It is also the “live performance version of SNAKEBITE” that has only been performed once in history. Although it was long because it was full of rare songs, the range of upgrades is also a very important point in this work. It first appeared on the legendary record ``COME TASTE THE BAND'' about 20 years ago, but if you have it, please give it a listen. You'll notice that the left channel is a bit off, and the balance leans towards the right channel. However, in this work, this is very natural. This also feeds the right channel from the left. . . So, no. The performance sound of the left channel, which was spoiled in the first CD release, is reproduced to the maximum extent possible. It is not a fake fake, but it revives the “real on-site sound” that could not be heard in the previous edition. The ultimate rare "Bloody Mary" and "Don't Mess With Me" are the biggest upgrades in this four-part series. This is another must-listen and must-have. Barney Tape's masterpiece that captures historical truth. Please enjoy it to the fullest with this press CD that will never lose its shine!
★Audience recording of the July 9, 1978 Lyceum Theater performance provided by the late Bernie Marsden himself. The only recording of the extremely rare songs "Bloody Mary" and "Don't Mess With Me" that you can enjoy has been brushed up with the latest and meticulous mastering. In the legendary record "COME TASTE THE BAND", which was the first appearance, the left channel, which was slightly off, was repaired. The balance, which had been too far to the right, has been corrected, and the true on-site sound has been revived. This is a must-listen and must-have new masterpiece that has been significantly upgraded from the representative recordings from the Pete Thorley era.

The truth about the earliest WHITESNAKEs is brought back to life with the “Bernie Tapes” treasured by the late Bernie Marsden himself! This work is the final installment of such four series. This is a stereo soundboard recording of the "November 1, 1978 Brighton Dome Performance" performance. This four-part Barney Tape series is all from 1978, but the members have changed slightly. In order to understand this, let's take a (slightly wider) overview of the activities at the time.
●1978 《February 13th: Brian Johnston joins》 ・March 3rd-31st: UK #1 (17 performances)←※MUSIC MACHINE 1978 and others 《Brian leaves → Pete Thorley joins》 《April 7th -13th “SNAKEBITE” production》 ・April 25th – July 9th: Europe #1 (6 performances) ← *LYCEUM 1978 [Pete leaves → Jon Lord joins] [“TROUBLE” completed on August 12th] October 26th – November 23rd: UK #2 (17 performances) ←★Here★ ● February 9th, 1979- April 9th: Europe #2 (17 performances) ← *Official BBC session [Production of “LOVEHUNTER” in May] June 1st-July 1st: Europe #3 (20 performances) [Dave Dole leaves → Ian]・Joining Pace >> ・August 18th - September 14th: Europe #4 (3 performances) ← *Official Reading ・September 23rd: Los Angeles performance ・October 11th - November 15th: UK #3 (23 Performance)
This is WHITESNAKE in 1978/1979. At the final stage of the production of "TROUBLE", Jon Lord joined as the third keyboardist. The Brighton performance of this work was part of their first tour, “UK #2.” From this leg, sound boards such as the official version “LIVE AT HAMMERSMITH” and Hanley performance “STEAL THE NIGHT (Langley Deluxe 010)” were also left. This is also a good opportunity, so let's focus on the dates and check the relative positions of each.
Now, this work recorded at such a show is a full soundboard that can also be listened to as the "complete version of official HAMMERSMITH", and is the definitive edition of the highest updated quality. First of all, let's compare it with the official version and get a feel for the volume of songs.
●White Snake (7 songs) ・Snakebite: Come On/Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City/Steal Away (★) ・Trouble: Lie Down (A Modern Love Song)/Trouble/Belgian Tom's Hat Trick ( ★) / Take Me With You (★) ●Others (4 songs) ・Purple Flame: Might Just Take Your Life/Mistreated ・Others: Rock Me Baby (★)/Breakdown/Whitesnake Mama (★) *Note: “★ ” are songs that could not be heard on the official “LIVE AT HAMMERSMITH”.
...and it looks like this. The official “LIVE AT HAMMERSMITH” may have been about 36 minutes, but the scale of about 76 minutes is incomparable. On top of the four songs, you can enjoy plenty of solos by Mickey Moody and Jon Lord, and there is no cut of “Mistreated” like “STEAL THE NIGHT”. “UK #2”, which is packed with soundboards, is definitely a masterpiece. Moreover, this work is the highest peak updated edition that has been brushed up with the latest mastering. ``THE DEVIL IN ME'', which was the first release, had an unnatural mix and balance, which is a weakness of direct-to-table systems, but this work has much better high-pitched sounds and is full of beauty of symmetry. . On the other hand, since the previous remastered "VINTAGE COLLECTION 1978 (Disc 2)" was a compilation, it was intended to have a sense of unity with other sound sources, resulting in a somewhat dry finish, but this work has no consideration for other sound sources. . The result is a richer sound that is as close to the original sound as possible.
Although such a full sound board alone is full of heart, this work also includes an additional bonus track that is even more delicious. That is COMPANY's phantom single "We Wish You Well" released in 1979. This COMPANY is a pseudonymous band consisting of Bernie, Neil Murray, Jon Lord, and Ian Paice, and although Coverdale/Mickey is not included, you can listen to the full-length "We Wish You Well", which is about 3 and a half minutes long, performed by the real members. It is. It is a super masterpiece of a full sound board that is truly the “complete version of official HAMMERSMITH” and “the best masterpiece of the Dave Dole era”. Although it is a highly valuable Barney Tapes, this work is one that exceeds the official one that everyone can get excited about even with zero prior knowledge. Enjoy it to the fullest with the updated press CD!
★Stereo soundboard recording of the "November 1, 1978 Brighton Dome performance" provided by the late Bernie Marsden himself. A complete live album of about 76 minutes, more than twice the length of the official work, with the same full soundboard from the UK tour as the official version "LIVE AT HAMMERSMITH". In addition to the remastered and upgraded live version, this is the definitive edition that also includes a bonus long studio version of "We Wish You Well" by the masked band COMPANY (Barney, Lord, Murray, Paice).
